These are the 20 stamp illustrations I have listed as Tawny and Steppe Eagles - here presented with
countryname and inscription on the stamp. 3 stamps have inscription indicating that the illustrated
species is not Tawny or Steppe Eagle. They are Angola Aguia dourada (Aquila chrysaetos), Chad
Terathopius ecaudatus (Bateleur) and Spanish Sahara Aquila noevia (possible Spotted Eagle), but I
had them listed as Tawny Eagle. In my listings 3 of the 20 stamps have been listed as Steppe Eagle, and the rest as Tawny Eagle. My 3 Steppe Eagles have been Azerbaijan, Mongolia and Russia (USSR). |
